How a miracle changed my life – and why I became a masseur

Your masseur · personally to your home

My path to massage did not begin in a school, but in the middle of life – through my brother. Since childhood he has suffered from a severe disability of his hands and feet. For years our family was tirelessly committed: we visited countless doctors and physiotherapists in different cities. But the hoped-for improvement never came. We were often desperate, yet we never gave up.

The turning point came when we discovered a therapist who practised 200 kilometres away. After the very first treatments we could feel it: his grips and targeted massages achieved what had seemed impossible before. My brother could move his hands and feet again. Under the therapist's guidance we learned the exercises and continued them every day at home from then on.

What happened next bordered on a miracle for us. After only a short time, my brother took his first steps on his own. Today he manages his everyday life – eating and drinking – completely independently again with his own hands.

This profound experience shaped me deeply. I have seen with my own eyes how much quality of life, hope and freedom can be given back through the right touch. In that moment it was clear to me: I want to make massage my profession.
